Mr, Noel Campbell, author, historian and broadcaster, will be the guest speaker at a meeting of the Mayo Historical & Archaeological Society on Wenesday , January 25th at 8 pm., in the GMIT lecture theatre. All welcome.

The title of his lecture is,

Castlebar 1600 - Present: a history of the county capital.

On Wednesday, February 15 a further lecture will take place, same time and same venue, when the speaker will be Raghnal O Floinn, Director of the National Museum of Ireland.
