The first Moy Fishery salmon for the 2010 season was caught today, 26 April, by ghillie John Howley on the Ridge Pool. John was using a size 8 Ally's Cascade fished on an intermediate line. The fine fish weighed in at 9.75 lbs.
Earlier in the day, a salmon was lost by a visiting angler on the Cathedral Beat. With water levels dropping further and more salmon showing, prospects for the Moy Fishery are looking excellent.
